How to build nss-util.i686 on Centos 7 with mock
Hello list,
I'm currently trying to build the i686 version of
http://vault.centos.org/7.5.1804/os/Source/SPackages/nss-util-3.34.0-2.el7.src.rpm
The x86_86 version works with mock, but I cannot figure out
how to build the i686 version.

Integer underflow in the "file" program before 4.20
Hello
http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2007-1536
"Integer underflow in the file_printf function in the "file" program
before 4.20 allows user-assisted attackers to execute arbitrary code via
a file that triggers a heap-based buffer overflow."
Is FreeBSD 5.x/6.x affected too? It looks the System has file 4.12. The
port has 4.20.
Regards,
Thomas

How to build nss-util.i686 on Centos 7 with mock
So, you have to have a full i386 build root to build i386 arch packages
.. then only a subset of those built packages are actually used as
multilib packages for x86_64.
as Nux! said, you have to use the i386 distro to build those.
The mock configs we use to build live here:
https://git.centos.org/tree/sig-core!bld-seven.git/master/mock
Obviously, you would need to modify them for your setup.

Bug#612237: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64: Fails to boot after upgrade from lenny
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64
Version: 4.0.1-2
Severity: important
I upgraded today from Lenny to Squeeze. I upgraded via apt-get
dist-upgrade and
then installed the new xen-packages (including hypervisor and kernel).
But I wasn't able to boot the system after the upgrade anymore with Xen
enabled:
On every boot-attempt, I just get "elf_init: not an ELF binary". I

How to build nss-util.i686 on Centos 7 with mock
Hi Martin,
You need to build a "epel-7-i386" mock profile and use that. Now I call it "epel" so it resembles the default profile, but there is no EPEL 32bit for EL7.
There is a 32bit CentOS 7 tree here http://mirror.centos.org/altarch/7/os/i386/
If there are deps required and are not there you'll need to backport them from Fedora I guess.

Samba-Share and problems with archives and CRC-Check
Hello Samba-Team,
I have some problems with Samba and winrar-archives.
Everytime I save a winrar-archive (don't know what happens to zip-archives...) on a samba-share and execute it (on W2K) I get errors like "CRC-Error. The file may be corrupt...". Also copying the file to W2K first and then executing brings the same error-message.
Without saving the .rar-archive to samba (only

The only thing that makes this tricky is that you can?t just say ?rpm -e kernel? because there is more than one ?kernel? package installed.? You need to know the exact package name.

Problem with todays update and fence-agents-all
Hi all!
I add another problem with todays updates:
Error: Package: fence-agents-all-4.0.11-13.el7_1.x86_64

fence-agents-compute seems to be missing.

printserver with HP UPD only prints black
Hello list,
I'm using samba 3.x and cannot use newer HP print drivers (UPD).
(They always print in black)
I updated to samba 4.6.2 with the same problem.
My question in the HP forum, did not got an answer:

My workaround for older HP drivers, was using the "printer defaults" and
