Typo on "TipsAndTricks/VncHeadlessInstall" wiki page
Dear all,
On the "TipsAndTricks/VncHeadlessInstall" wiki page, the first sentence
under "Download ISO" section should be changed from:
The first thing you will need is once if the ISO's from the CentOS
mirrors.
to:
The first thing you will need is one of the ISO's from the CentOS
mirrors.

VncHeadlessInstall
I just read the
http://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/VncHeadlessInstall, and it was
easy to follow and worked like a charm, I wasn't aware of the anaconda
stuff...
And a suggestion: could the fact that the netboot iso is just 9 megs
big be emphasise... and maybee link to
http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/CreateLocalRepos as a tips to save
bandwith net installs?

used to advantage, and as it is A LOT simpler than burning a CD/DVD, I
feel the changes would help others that find themselves in the situation

I am proposing to do the in

felt that it is better to have the content be on a sub-page (due to the
fact my edits involve using the console), I am amenable to doing that also.

Install via VNC
This sounds very interesting:
http://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/VncHeadlessInstall
It would get me around my limitations on the screen on the OQO. And the
instructions read rather well.
Only thing I don't know how to do is have vncviewer in 'listen' mode.

vncviwer in listen mode poer number
I am working on the Centos wiki instructions for doing an install via vnc:
http://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/VncHeadlessInstall
CD is all burned and ready to go. I then thought about the viewer
settings particularly the port number and firewall rules.
When I connect vncviewer to a vncserver it uses port(s) 590n where n is
the display number. OK, is that what happens when a server connects
back to a -listen viewer?

following Centos wiki headless install, but applying to FC10
I have successfully built an install CD following the instructions at:
http://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/VncHeadlessInstall
Now I am trying to do the same with FC10 and I am failing in two ways.
I have tried to find a similar howto for even FC9, but have not found
the right google magic.
The first problem should be small. When I set isolinux.cfg to start with:
prompt 1
timeout 0
I still get prompted. There is q...

Headless system
So I'm in a bit of a pickle ... I have a machine that needs to be
repurposed from WinXP to CentOS. I downloaded the CentOS DVD and all then
realized ... I don't have a keyboard/mouse for the machine. It only has
USB ports on it, and I don't have a single available USB keyboard that I
can plug in. Bit of a problem.
Usually what I do is install via VNC anyway, but that is contingent
