I haven't run it yet, but it claims to provide a way to mirror running windows boxes over iscsi to vmware disk images, then allows you to boot that image under vmware as a replacement for the server with little downtime. Obviously not a very fair comparison [1]. I can''t see how this was done well at all. VMWare are a bit silly to release stuff like this, just lowers the whole game. I want to create a virtual machine from scratch in ESX but I can't figure out how to create the disks - the vmdk files. Any hints on how that can be done or even if it's possible at all ? Thanks
