OK, thanks again for all your help. I have resolved this, finally. The problem was that I configured VLAN 48 as the native VLAN on the trunk port.That was a mistake as apparently the native VLAN is the one where Cisco does not bother to tag packets. Hi, I would like to prioritize VOIP traffic when we use the phone, but other times not do traffic shaping at all. Right now I have my openwrt router set up with htb to do shaping. In order to get it to work well I had to set my upload and download speeds much lower than my line speed. My target is that linux takes attention of on which vlan interface traffic is arriving so that kernel can decide which routing table it has to use.
