AW: Icecast1: "Client din't data fast enough"
Hello Geoff, Hello Hagen, I have also this problem, I use shoutcast with shout. on a Sun SPARCServer 5 with 170 Mhz, and I don't know what I can do. Making higher buffering at the server-side ?!? but where ? Using a better Maschine (Sun Ultra60 with 2x450 UltraSPARCII Processor) its the same problem: the stream is broken with "Client din't data fast enough" in Logfile. I hear

icecast to rebound streaming radio
My name is Stuardo, from Guatemala and i have this problem: We want to stream a local radio, but the bandwidth here in Guatemala is no so cheam ass in USA, so we have a server in USA. What we want to do is this: to stream the local radio from Guatemala to USA, this means that the local machine will only have 1 client. Then we want that the server in USA "rebounds" what it recives

streaming non-MP3 formats
Hi, I'm working on a project to add more audio formats other than MP3 and Ogg that can be streamed by Icecast. Yes, I mean streaming those formats, not converting them to MP3. These formats I'd like to add include PCM (.wav) and ADPCM (.adp). Although they are much less advanced codecs compared to MP3, they have a valid market for low-power clients. hi! this is very interesting... even yesterday I was thinking if there's a way to stream uncompressed audio... one of the problems with high compression is delay. for example, when you make a radio broadcasting, you cannot easily use a stream to relay live programs in remote locations, because the time lag between speech and return signal from the rf transmitter drives everyone crazy. for
