...far I have found VideoLan plays the stream very well. MPlayer was ok, but wasn't as good at buffering. The Java Player from flumotion played ok sometimes (although there is some nasty tearing on the image when its re-drawing fast-motion video) You can find the stream to test at http://www.visonair.tv - click "Watch Now" and choose the stream for VideoLan. ...d for watching/listening to internet based streams although will play from disk. It fully supports chained streams and has visualizations (for audio only streams) as well as a few other features. Can it get listed under Binaries on the Theora website? The player can be downloaded at http://www.visonair.tv/player.php Over the next few months I plan to create some simple streaming tools (a bit like the ones available for nsv streaming) for Windows users.
