Hi. i am using the hide files and hide dot files options, but the files are still visiable on my WinXP clients. Yes, I have the option set on the XP clients to show all files for security reasons. But can't samba just hide this file for everybody / every setting? thanks daniel

And I am in Los Angeles area. a) when I open up (the internet explorer), I can't seem to use it like one would on say, XP, ie: lack of a address bar, right click of mouse - to access going back, as there's no visiable toorbar, button's, misc, you know. Just the window. I can't even access properties, per richt clicking and scolling down to properties - it doesn't open up. And which I notice, maybe which it's normal, but the background desktop goes blanks to say, Blue color, as if to be switching...
