snapdir visable recursively throughout a dataset
Is there an existing RFE for, what I''ll wrongly call, "recursively visable snapshots"? That is, .zfs in directories other than the dataset root. Frankly, I don''t need it available in all directories, although it''d be nice, but I do have a need for making it visiable 1 dir down from the dataset root. The problem is that while ZFS and Zones work s...

XP shares not visable.

folders in public namespace only visable to 2nd folder level in 2.2.29.1
Hi all, I am currently facing an issue with Dovevot version 2.2.29.1 where subfolders in a public namespace are only visible to the 2nd folder level: namespace Public -> folder "1st" -> folder -> "2nd" -> folder "3rd" .... When one user creates a subfolder below the 2nd level other users do not see that folder and are unable to subscribe to this

Sharing a Win-XP(pro) USB printer :(
Hello Family, I'm having a hell of a time just trying to "see" the shared printer on a Win-XP(pro) box here at home. All my other Windows boxes can not only see it but print to it, my Unix family (all of the relatives) of machines are having no luck. I apologize if this is something simple for Samba has evolved so much that one barely needs to do anything to get stuff working for

Can I limit my browsing of share between clients?
...Accounting Dep common files browseable = yes writable = yes locking = no path = /mnt/accounts guest ok = no hide ureadable = yes create mask = 0777 directory mask = 0777 host allowed = 192.168.0.20 192.168.0.25 192.168.0.27 192.168.0.28 I wan't 'Accounts' to only be visable on the client's WORKGROUP listed in 'host allowed'. As it is now all clients can see Accounts but only the listed IP's can use it. If I set 'browseable=no' then nobody can see it. Is it possible or is it of the nature of M$. /Pelle ___________________________________...

y-axis of lattice panels not printing to paper
Greetings, I am printing lattice plots from the R-interface to a printer, and although the y-axes of the left-most panels are visable on the screen, they are not present on the paper when there are multiple panels (ie, >1). For example: trellis.device(bg='white') histogram(~dbh, data=diameter.df) ###print to a printer from the R-interface by clicking the print button on the toolbar The above prints fine. All axe...
