/home on BTRFS on SSD, now highly fragmenting virtuoso database - use autodefrag?

Data: total=14.01GB, used=9.98GB
System: total=4.00MB, used=4.00KB

Works well so far and I see no issues.
Except for a highly fragmenting file:

embedded in the oldschool HTML is RDFa which is used to bootstrap a base javascript GUI aka ''fire''. you''ll likely...

[OT] OSX-10.9.3 cd ~'/ problem with spaces'
...nts 'cd' as an external script that contains
the following (Note the back-ticks surrounding the echo pipe tr commands):
#!/bin/sh
builtin `echo ${0##*/} | tr \[:upper:] \[:lower:]` ${1+"$@"}
My guess is that this is where the problem is but I cannot tell what it is.
Can a bash virtuoso point out the syntax error that is causing this script to
mis-parse the path argument? I just want to fix this so I do not need to
remember to use the builtin command when switching directories. Sheer
laziness on my part.
Thanks

DBLEPR?
Ravi Varadhan and I have been looking at UCMINF to try to identify why it gives occasional
(but not reproducible) errors, seemingly on Windows only. There is some suspicion that its
use of DBLEPR for finessing the Fortran WRITE() statements may be to blame. While I can
find DBLEPR in Venables and Ripley, it doesn't get much mention after about 2000 in the
archives, though it is in the R FAQ

Update on spam, postfix, fail2ban, centos 6
I have been using centos 6 in a virtualized system for a few months now.
Took a while to batten down the hatches with postfix, rbls, and to use
fail2ban correctly.
The mailserver for my website(s) are located on the http server as
well..an 'all in one' server.
DNS servers are separated.
My two sites, and their emails addresses (1 for each) have been around

ActiveRecord outside of rails
I have a few questions regarding using activerecord outside of rails.
Usage is with legacy databases, which gives rise to some of the
problems.
Probably the first, and most simple question though, is how to capture
the SQL log, with which I can hopefully figure the other stuff out.
I''m currently trying
ActiveRecord::Base.logger = Logger.new STDOUT
Based on random googles, but it

Feedback on XML metadata namespace
Hi ogg-dev list,
After discussing the [lack of] metadata standards on the
irc://irc.freenode.net/#Vorbis channel yesterday I figured I had to
contribute to this process.
Attached is a sample XML formatted metadata sheet describing a song; and
shows off other media type elements as well. How this is to be embedded in
the OGG container is not my field.
I have only spent a couple of hours
