ACM codec?
...lot about ACM.
An example of an ACM codec that can be founded at
http://www.riphelp.com/downloads/ogg_codec.html is the Ogg Vorbis, an open
source alternative to MP3. With this codec installed, you can use it with
any software that support ACM codecs, like Windows Media Player, Winamp,
VideoMach, VirtuaDub and others, alone or into a video (try it). There's a
free application called CodAxe that is a GUI for the Audio Codec Manager an
can be used to compress or decompress using the installed ACM codecs. It can
be fouded at http://www.doenitz.com/mathias/codaxe.html.

Problem writing to fat hd
...The "/deposito" partiton is mounted like this:
/dev/hda5 on /deposito type vfat (rw,uid=500,gid=500,umask=0)
i am the user "500".
The problem: i cant write to any FAT32 partition, never, under any win32
programs. I can write to ext2 partiotion:
for example, in Wonrd97 or VirtuaDub or whatever program i can save files to:
J:\example.doc
but cant to:
E:\example.doc
it says "disk full or read only". The partition is NOT read only as you can
read (umask=0) and this problem happens even if i am ROOT!
I am using a standard wine conf file, i havent changed any dll load...

Re: ACM codec
Mr. Blum,
I had to make some assumptions writing the driver, because I had no previous
experience writing ACM drivers. I did what I could based in Microsoft's
documentation but, of course, I made same mistakes. I had no time to test
the code I wrote yet and will not in the next 2 weeks. All I can tell you
now is about what I did and about my sources. So, considering your
enthusiasm, I suggest
