Hello, It seems currently when you "yum update" CentOS 6.6 Xen host you end up getting python-virtinst from c6 base repo: python-virtinst-0.600.0-24.el6.noarch and not from Xen4CentOS repo, because the version there is "older": 0.600.0-19. .. which means the centos/xen-specific patch in python-virtinst is "lost". Hi all, I am trying to install OpenSUSE 11.1 as a para-virtualized DomU on an opensolaris2009.06 guest using the xvm packages provided via IPS. Just a thought I wanted to throw out but having been running Fedora Core on my AMD64 for awhile now and getting to look at their Xen install I've had a few thoughts. Mostly related to installing domU's. FC has a virt-install that is written in python that's in their python-virtinstall package. It's a nice way to install the domU but it only works currently with a FC install. I've been trying to pick it apart and see if I can't retool it to support installing different domU installs starting with Debian but in theory any. Anyone else tried working on such a beasty...
