[RFC PATCH 0/8] virtio: Support for hibernation (S4)
Hello,
These patches are an initial attempt at supporting hibernation for
virtio drivers.
The default configuration of event_index=on doesn't work; i.e. restore
from a hibernated image only works if the devices have event_index
support turned off. I have not yet dug into this, but is most likely
due to some state not being sync'ed. This could be related to the
hack that is patch 3.

[PATCH v2 0/2] virtio: console: add locking around control out-vq
The in-vq operations were protected by a lock, but the out-vq
operations were not. This caused panics / errors as described in
patch 2. Fix that.
The first patch renames the existing cvq_lock to c_ivq_lock to match
c_ivq. The second patch introduces the c_ovq_lock for the c_ovq.
Please apply. I also believe this is a candidate for stable.
v2:
* Use spin_lock instead of spin_lock_irq.

[PATCH V2 0/2] [BUGFIX] virtio/console: Fix two bugs of splice_write
Hi,
This patch set fixes two bugs of splice_write in the virtio-console driver.
[BUG1] Although pipe->nrbufs is empty, the driver tries to do splice_write.
=> This induces oops in sg_init_table().
[BUG2] No lock for competition of splice_write.
=> This induces oops in splice_from_pipe_feed() by bug of any user
application.

[PATCH 0/2] virtio: Replace CONFIG_PM with CONFIG_PM_SLEEP
This patchset replace CONFIG_PM with CONFIG_PM_SLEEP for all virtio
drivers and virtio pci driver.
With patch 1/2, two compile warnings are eliminated for virtio pci
driver, and patch 2/2 is a clean up for all virtio drivers as suggested
by Amit Shah.

[PATCH v3 00/11] virtio: S4 support
Hi,
These patches add support for S4 to virtio (pci) and all drivers.
For each driver, all vqs are removed before hibernation, and then
re-created after restore. Some driver-specific uninit and init work
is also done in the freeze and restore functions.
All the drivers in testing work fine:
* virtio-blk is used for the only disk in the VM, IO works fine before
and after.
* virtio-console:

[PATCH v5 00/11] virtio: s4 support
Hi,
These patches add support for S4 to virtio (pci) and all drivers.
Michael saw some race in virtio-net module removal which will need a
similar fix for the freeze code as well. I'll update the virtio-net
patch with that fix once the fix is settled upon and applied.
For each driver, all vqs are removed before hibernation, and then
re-created after restore. Some driver-specific uninit
