Ogg Flac padding
...How about some examples of files that show problems? Here is a basic OggFlac track, as produced by the standard flac encoder. It has a vorbis comment packet, a seektable packet, and a padding packet and works fine. Note that each packet is on a separate Ogg page. http://www.nartowicz.webspace.virginmedia.com/oggflac/01.oga Here is the same track with just a vorbis comment packet. The Ogg packet is padded with about 1024 nulls. It also seems to work in all the tools I've tried. I can play this and adjust the padding to edit the metadata in place. http://www.nartowicz.webspace.virginmedia.com...

Are people using the icecast official source or the updated version by KH? http://www.xiphicecast.webspace.virginmedia.com/ I think that version has a lot of fixes and added stability... can we merge it back in with the main source? source questions & intentions to patch: yp-timing & auth
Good Day, Looking at the SVN repo: there's 30+ commits since the 2.6.2 release; the last one from August 2009. Are there any intentions to roll a release anytime soon? Are there any more recent branches? I'm currently looking into extending icecast2 (more below) and am wondering if I should base the patches on 2.6.2+debian-fixes or work from svn-trunk? We are using a cluster of icecast

Custom CLI (spoofing) ?

I can probably understand the lack of spoofed CLI on the PSTN, as in the UK, it's difficult if not impossible to spoof the CLI on the PSTN (usually), but VoIP to VoIP, surely it should work? ----------------------------------------- Email sent from www.virginmedia.com/email Virus-checked using McAfee(R) Software and scanned for spam

Basically, IceCast is vastly unmaintained, that said, kh[0] maintains some code, that is supposed to be quite a bit more advanced. Forcing an ID on all mountpoints
I'm looking for a way to tag my live feeds via an audio announcement every 30 minutes or so using the Linux install of Icecast. Some of the feeds I control locally, and other feeds are from remote locations - so implimenting this must be as painless as possible for each encoding location. As of now, the best way I can think of to do this is by running 2 instances of Icecast. Allowing the
