ztdummy does not load properly at server startup
Hi I run asterisk 1.4.2 with zaptel 1.4.1. Zaptel is only needed for the ztdummy driver to get the Meetme() application to work. I don't have any specific hardware. And it does work nicely. When I reboot the machine however I have to manually load the driver like this: [root@vink ~]# modprobe ztdummy Notice: Configuration file is /etc/zaptel.conf line 0: Unable to open master device '/dev/zap/ctl' 1 error(s) detected FATAL: Error running install command for ztdummy [root@vink ~]# modprobe -r ztdummy [root@vink ~]# modprobe ztdummy Notice: Configuration file is /et...

poor network performance on domU
Hi all, I recently started with Xen (3.1.0) on my new server running Ubuntu Gutsy (7.10) and I''m experiencing very poor network performance on my domU''s. Since my colo provider offers me a /28 of routed public IPs next to one interconnection IP to their routers, I built a Xen configuration as described in http://www.debian-administration.org/articles/360 (a routed

[LLVMdev] An alternate implementation of exceptions
Hi Mikael, the idea of modifying functions so they return two parameters (the usual one and an exception pointer or some kind of exception flag) is well known. The LLVM vmkit project actually uses a variant of this: rather than returning the exception pointer in a register, it sticks it in a global thread local variable. I only took a quick look at your paper, but it seems to me that it has a

OT: SIP aware firewalls?
Hi All, Until now I've only used IAX2 to connect to ITSPs. I've been toying with a SIP connection to Gizmo Project, but not yet successfully. It brings to mind a question. At what point does it make sense to consider a SIP-aware firewall such as those from Ingate? I'd hate to move away from my m0n0wall, which is open source, easy to manage and has served me brilliantly for two

[LLVMdev] An alternate implementation of exceptions
Hi, The guys on the Tiny C mailing list referred me to this list because I suggested adding a simple exception handling mechanism to Tiny C. I have written a small article on a proposal to add try/catch and throw statements to C, knowing very well that this is a non-standard extention, but there are so many of those in the C world that another one shouldn't be a big issue. The Tiny C guys

[LLVMdev] An alternate implementation of exceptions
...eption instance and the return value as these never appear simultaneously. That's the primary reason I use the Carry flag: To avoid allocating a global variable, a thread variable or an entire register solely for communicating exception conditions. Especially on register scarce architectures (vink, vink, Intel), it is important to avoid allocating an entire register for the purpose of signaling a single bit of information: 1 = an exception has occurred, 0 = no exception has occurred. Also, when you use a register, instead of a flag, to indicate the exception condition, the caller must expli...

ENUM NL dead ?
Hi all, I been searching on the wiki and google for ENUM in NL. All I could find were some docs from the Dutch Financial Department about taskforces and plans. But it all links to dead pages and no-longer-connected phone numbers. Is there anyone who knows some more about Dutch ENUM stuff ? If it's all dead, anyone interested in setting it up together with me ? Hope to get some answers,
