Role of "password server" statement
...hought if you don't
use the default "*" value, but instead created a list of DCs, it would
only use a DC from that list. But, we have seen winbind connect to a DC
that is not listed in the password server statement, but is listed in DNS:

make test fails on Solaris 10 for 3.2.4
...test script then tries to run gdb to determine why it
died & can't find it. If I install samba & load smbd by hand, it starts
up without a problem. I haven't found anyone else reporting & a fix, so
I'm hoping someone here could help me.
Thanks.

Strange winbindd messages
...ent through ok at 10:35:23 & again at 10:35:29. We
haven't seen them before, & searching, I couldn't find much info. What
do these messages mean? What would have caused them? Do we need to be
concerned? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

how lm behaves
I was wondering if somebody could explain why I get different results here:
>treats[,2]<-as.factor(treats[,2])
>treats[,5]<-as.factor(treats[,5])
>treats[,4]<-as.factor(treats[,4])
#there are 'c' on more days than I have 'h2o2', where treats[,4] is the day. I only want 'c' that correspond to the same days that I have a 'h2o2' also.
