mbox folders
I just upgraded to Fedora Core 2 from Fedora Core 1. Discovered that
UW-IMAP was replaced with Cyrus. Not quite ready to switch to that mail
box format so I instead installed dovecot which comes with Fedora Core
2.
The RPM version is: dovecot-0.99.10.4-4
The problem I am having is that it seems to want to put folders in:
~/mail/mail/
I would like the folders to be in:
~/mail/

Fix to track-kameipv6 branch for socket.c
...t changed it so they only check the list of IP
addresses if getaddr succeeds.
Any comments on this please email me directly because I do not belong to
this mailing list. The reason I fixed this is because the rsync RPM that
comes with Red Hat 7.2 contained the IPV6 patch in it.

CVS to Subversion sync and check-in comments
So is there any possibility of getting it so that the Subversion
repository can get the check-in comments from the internal CVS
repository?
At the moment every log file comment I see in SVN is "Sync". Which
doesn't really let me know what has happenned without having to go lock
at the actual diff between the two versions. And even then I may not
have any idea why the change was

Calculating volume size from superblock
Another simple question.
How do I calculate the size of the volume from the superblock?
Do I just use the two fields:
u_int32_t s_blocksize_bits; /* Blocksize for this fs */
u_int32_t s_clustersize_bits; /* Clustersize for this fs */
What is the formula to use?

Advice on converting from Mbox to Maildir?
Does anyone have advice or pointers on good documentation on how to
convert a system from using the Mbox format to using Maildir?
I recently upgraded to Fedora Core 2 from Fedora Core 1 and discovered
that UW-IMAP was gone. So I switched over to using Dovecot. So far so
good.
But I would like to convert my system to start using the Maildir format.
How easy is this to accomplish?
Can I keep

Maximum and minimum OCFS2 volume sizes?
Just a quick question. What is the maximum and minimum volume sizes
that OCFS2 supports?
I'm working on doing a plugin for EVMS to support OCFS2. One of the
functions needs that info.
Thanks,

Problems building OCFS2
I also sent this to OCFS2-devel but no response so far. So...
I noticed that OCFS2 got updated in the last few days.
I just tried to do a build and got this:

Shared folders?
I haven't seen any info on this so I thought I'd ask.
Is there support for shared IMAP folders?
Quite a few people at work subscribe to the Linux Kernel Mailing List.
I thought it would make more sense if there could be a shared LKML
folder that they all could use. This would save disk space.
Is this posssible? If so how?
I am also looking into the idea of doing a local newsgroup of

How to split an Ogg Vorbis stream?
I looked through the archives and I didn't really seem to find the answer
to what my question.
I used wget to get an audio stream from a site and now I would like to be
able to split up the stream into the individual songs. The site is nice
enough to encode the artist and track name in each new song. This info is
displayed in Winamp when the song plays. Doing an xxd dump of the file I

Windows XP SP2, Azureus, and Samba
Trying again.
Has anyone seen this issue:
I just upgraded to Windows XP SP2 and now I am having problems :(
I have Fedora Core 2 with the latest updates installed. The Samba RPM
version is 3.0.3-5.
The problem I am having is using Azureus and the Samba share. Before
SP2 everything worked fine saving locally and on the Samba server.
Now, after SP2, I am getting messages like this from

Source code unavailable
...tried to browse via:
http://oss.oracle.com/projects/ocfs/src/
And check out the code using Subversion at:
http://oss.oracle.com/projects/ocfs/src/trunk/
Both places time out. Though I am able to access the main website.
Is Subversion not working right now at oss.oracle.com?
Thanks,
John

Re: Revision 559 of ocfs2/src/inc/io.h
..._DATA_WRITE:inc/io.h:146". Not too helpful ;-)
So if you ever seem to hit real deadlocks (not just a deadlock warning,
but the warning plus one or more processes permanently stuck in D state)
just turn on -DBH_SEM_DEBUG and try again.
Thanks!

Unable to build RPMS for ocfs-tools-devel
RPM building of ocfs-tools appears to be broken. I think this is
because the DIST_FILES have not yet been completely updated for all the
changes.
Is anyone working on this?
I'll send in the stuff that I fix as I complete it.
