And the final bit of info: winecheck says the sequencer isn't there, maybe missing kernel driver etc.....

Please Help, I sent an email about this problem but i got no answer yet, with the new wine ( 10/31 ), i cannot use any of the codecs i was using before, like DV, divx, mp3...etc, i was adding the msacm.xxx and the vidc.xxx in the system.ini and it was working with the older versions, anyone can help me making it work with the new one? or at least tell me what changed? ...point Edit Studio to it. Any pointers? In the same system.ini file, lines containing ir50.dll, ir32.dll and iccvid.dll, in the [drivers] section, are commented out. Are these necessary for what I'm trying to do? The system.ini file from an ME partition contains the lines: [drivers] ..... VIDC.UYVY=msyuv.dll VIDC.YUY2=msyuv.dll] VIDC.YVYU=msyuv.dll VIDC.MPG4=mpg4c32.dll VIDC.MP42=mpg4c32 Do these refer to MPEG2 codecs? Hi, I just upgraded to 10/31 version and i lost the way i was using DVSD ( DV Codec ) with programs like virtualdub. All the previous versions were working well with the vidc.dvsd=dvc.dll in the system.ini file, the 10/31 version with virtualdub gives this : cannot locate decompressor for format dvsd unknown. Any one can help please? Thanks

Please help, i need to configure the codecs i am using with the windows installation, till version 2002/08 i was using the ~/.wine/system.ini in the drivers32 section with vidc.xxxx = xxxx.dll but with the current version it doesn't see any codecs, help please. Thanks
