Civ 4 time victory in 2 minutes
Initially the bottom half of the screen was cut off for civilization 4 and It seems to have corrected itself now, for unknown reasons.
Now it keeps giving the computer opponents time victories within a few minutes. Why is it doing that? And how do i correct it?

I got icecast up and running over the weekend. Now i have a couple of
questions:
1. What can I do so that the record companies do not come after me ?
IS it ok to stream mp3 music ?
2. I did some test. Some of my friends players would only play a few
seconds and they had to select play to get more data. They were on a
slow link.
3. Any other advice you may have.
The play is to stream some

Is it 1.0 yet?
...xed a few releases ago. I know that there's
no end to getting things right but there comes a point when you need to
call it done. No one trusts a 1.0 to be perfect but Dovecot is already
better that most 2.0 versions of other software.
I vote (as if my vote counted) to call it done, declare victory, and
move on to 1.01, 1.02 etc. No one is going to trus it till it gets to
1.02 so I say lets bless it and move on.

How to properly shade the background panels of an xyplot?
...ome of the data contained in the panel itself. After
all, this is what "panel = function (x,y ....." is meant for, right ?
But what, if I want to highlight some panels ? Arbitrarily or
conditioned by another variable.
Say I want to shade in gray only the upper right panels (Block VI,
Victory and Marvellous varieties )
Given a data frame like this, with a variable intended to set the colour
of the panel background
/
data(Oats, package = "MEMSS")

This dataframe has values and for some 1000 rows it holds NULL values.I hace
found the missing values for about 500 and have those in another dataframe
D.F.sub.2

as dataframe is a subset of D.F1 the coulmn 1 in D.F.sub.2 is a subset of
D.F1.I have to insert the values in D.F1 in other fields while the coulmn 1

an efficient way to calculate correlation matrix
Dear all,
I have a problem. I have m variables each of which has n observations. I want to
calculate pairwise correlation among the m variables and store the values in a m
x m matrix. It is extremely slow to use nested 'for' loops if m and n are large.
Is there any efficient alternative to do this? Many thanks for your
suggestions!!

xyplot does not find variable in data
...t the "scales" argument does not understand that "nitro" is a
variable in the data.
What principle is at work?
library(MEMSS)
# The following works fine:
xyplot(
yield ~ nitro
, data=Oats
, scales=list(
x=list(
at=unique(Oats$nitro)
)
)
, subset=Variety=="Victory"
)
# But the following returns an error:
xyplot(
yield ~ nitro
, data=Oats
, scales=list(
x=list(
at=unique(nitro)
)
)
)
Thanks for any insight

Dataflow analysis regression in 3.7
David/Johan,
I would love to claim victory, but I don't think that D34901 catches
this case.
However, I got interested and threw this together quickly:
https://reviews.llvm.org/D35140.
This does catch the below case. If people are interested I can add test
cases and submit for formal review. FWIW, it does hit about 1/3 of all
