...imately need this footage to be in theora, because we're using annodex to index the footage. So - a couple of questions: I've noticed some activity on the ffmpeg changelog w/r/t decoding theora content - is there any hope of ENcoding via ffmpeg? this would allow us to use our ffmpeg vhooks to get our theora content. Is it possible/feasible to roll vhook funcitonality into ffmpeg2theora? Otherwise, it seems as though we're stuck rendering mp4 in ffmpeg with our overlay, then ffmpeg2theoraing that mp4. This is problematic because we're also hoping to offer a live feed....

CentOs zoneminder users, I have been trying to install zoneminder on Centos 5.3 (2.6.18-128.1.16.el5xen) and have hit a brick wall with ffmpeg which zoneminder has as a dependancy. There were no rpm's in centos or rpmforge so I have followed the instructions on the zoneminder website for a CentOs install. I have posted a note on the zoneminder list, but have not been able to get any takers

hello mailinglist, i currently try to compile ffmpeg on a 64bit fedora-core 8 machine using llvm2.3. the "good" things first: everything works fine on a 32bit ubuntu-machine using llvm-2.3 (actually i do not know if that is grace to ubuntu or grace to 32bit) when using the normal gcc on the 64bit fc8 machine, everything works too. now the "bad" thing: it does not work on fc8

Hi guys , I used ffmpeg , and ffmpeg2theora , with oggfwd for streaming to the icecast2 streaming server without any problems. But now , only works if I use ffmpeg2theora. I try with one of the latest svn version and one that I consider " stable" because is ok for all my needs , and they don't work. Compiling ffmpge2theora from SVN appears to die while complaining about undefined symbols? This documents my attempt to build ffmpeg2theora from SVN on Mac OS X version 10.5.7.
