Hello, I would like to install the latest tinc software on a fedora 8 Linux box. I tried the rpm for FC3 from http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/tinc/, and I got dependency errors complaining that libcrypto.so.4 is needed. I've got openssl rpm package installed which uses a different versino of libcrypto, and creating symbolic links won't solve the issue. Then I found this article http://www.linux.com/feature/131343 which says there is no tinc rpm available for FC8. My question is, is there a work around for the lib dependency issue using tinc rpm for FC3, or I better compile tin...

Hi! I'm trying to compile the 9.16 versino of Wine. It runs ok til it goes to the real compilation.. It just outputs 'gcc error: this program can't output executable files' Using it for code generated by me, it works ok, and it still compiles other programs. What this could be? Where wine looks for the gcc (or other C compiler)?...

I play a game called Ultima Online.. the client runs 100% just fine when im using xfce but crashes when im using kde? nothing else has changed on the system. i do use kdm ive tried gdm as well. any ideas? i can just log out, switch session to xfce and play the game with no issues.. but i like kde..
