Connecting Asterisk and BT Versatility PBX via NT BRI
Roberto Thanks. Panasonic KX-TD1232 system ISDN interface use DDK plug, not same cord you are using for openvox B400P card. Each port could be configured as CO or extension port as Point-Point or PTMP in both mode. Regarding to dial timeout these it becomes from ISDN dial mode overlap or En-bloc, by the way you can close dialling number by using # key. Best regards Mc GRATH Ricardo E-Mail

Connecting Asterisk and BT Versatility PBX via NT BRI port
Hi All, I've a BT Versatility PBX that I want to connect to my asterisk 11.9.0 box via BRI port in NT mode but actually I wasn't able to get it working. I've another standalone PBX, it's a Panasonic model, which works fine connected to the same port. The BT connected to a UK BT BRI line works quite fine after roughly a minute once connected. The PBX can be seen at

A rep_each function
The rep function is very versatile, but that versatility comes at a cost: it takes a bit of effort to learn (and remember) its syntax. This is a problem, since rep is one of the first functions many beginners will come across. Of the three main uses of rep, two have simpler alternatives. rep(x, times = ) has rep.int rep(x, length....

libvirt-lxc
...le processes ..." - http://www.ubuntu.com/cloud/tools/lxd There are many uses for full containers within build, server management, testing, etc. where quickly creating containers that look, 'feel' and act just like real servers is beneficial, and far cheaper (in many ways) and more versatile than fully virtualised machines or docker containers. I have just discovered libvirt-lxc and found that it works well on both Ubuntu and RedHat, and is designed to be integrated into tooling, which is exactly what I need. I considered Runc before libvirt, but libvirt is so versatile, allowing...

Parameter Matchers with optional params
Hi, Are there any docs for combining parameter matchers, or some way to define optional parameters? I''m trying to match something like: .find( 42 ) || .find( 42, {:conditions=>nil,:includes=>nil} ) Or for that matter, 42 followed by nothing or anything... Halp? I''ve tried different nested combos with any_of/all_of/anything, but getting lost trying. --Andrew

Inputing data from multiple files as time series objects
...te them (exempli gratia plot acf, pacf, differntiate them, make adf tests, etc) For example: I could do that by hand using: AOL <- ts(read.table(AOL.txt, header = TRUE)))) IBM <- ts(read.table(IBM.txt, header = TRUE)))) but is there another way to achieve the same actions as above with a more versatile way? (for example loops?) Or would you suggest inputing these data with another way or as other objects? Thank you very much in advance,... Tsardounis Costas

debugging a code
Hello just learned HowTo but R, reminded me with the way Perl does it but with much less on-line commands, R "AFAIK" has n, c, Q and where and cann't debug outside the {}. 1) is there a more versatile/flexable debugging method for R? I have saved 2 functions in an ASCII file "digfun". "getdata" function calls "squash" function and both use loops. In another file.R I have source("digfun") debug(getdata) data <- getdata("c:/data/") Browse[1]&...

zfs and backup applications
Hi, I was wondering if there have been any conversations with backup vendors like Veritas or EMC regarding better integration with ZFS. While I understand they can use the "native" mode of reading files from the filesystem, it would be great if there were agents that had options like making a snapshot and storing a "zfs backup" datastream that could be used for zfs restore.

[ANNOUNCE] Xen port to Cortex-A15 / ARMv7 with virt extensions
...latest virtualization, LPAE, GIC and generic timer support in hardware. We started the work less than three months ago, but the port is already capable of booting a Linux 3.0 based virtual machine (dom0) up to a shell prompt on an ARM Architecture Envelope Model, configured to emulate an A15-based Versatile Express. In this context, we wanted to thank ARM for making the model available to us. Now we are looking forward to porting the tools and running multiple guests. The code requires virtualization, LPAE and GIC support and therefore it won't be able to run on anything older than a Cortex-A15....
