Interaction term not significant when using glm???
...raction is more than obvious, but I was asked
to give a p-value, so I ran a logistic regression using glm. Very funny, in
the outcome the interaction term is NOT significant, although that's
completely counterintuitive. There are 3 variables : spot (binary response),
constr (gene construct) and vernalized (growth conditions). Only for the FLC
construct after vernalization, the chance on spots should be lower. So in
the model one would suspect the interaction term to be significant.
Yet, only the two main terms are significant here. Can it be my data is too
sparse to use these models? Am I using the...

Samba4 as AD DC, with one anonymous read-only share
Hello all,
I have several Samba4 DCs that host various production shares. I need
one share, however, available as a read-only guest share (anonymous)
that will be used as a software distribution share point. I have been
unable to make it work (the servers prompt me for a valid username and
password on that share).
I have done some googling and it seems that this functionality might be

Samba4 DNS (bind_dlz) management issue on CentOS
To whom it may concern,
Not long ago, I joined a Samba4 box as a DC to a single DC Windows 2003
Active Directory domain to begin the process of learning Samba4.
Unfortunately, before I was ready to make the total switch, my Windows
2003 server died, and the remnants of my domain were left with Samba4.
While I have got my Samba4 running fairly smoothly (after forcing it to

[alert] DST change and date comparisons
Description of Problem
We are rapidly approaching the time of year when some will
transition from standard time (ST) to daylight savings time
(DST) and others will make the opposite transition. These
vernal and autumnal transitions have important implications
for those with Microsoft systems and use utilities that
compare file timestamps on different filesystem types or
with filesystems on other
