Hi list, I''m running xen3 on verious systems and are very happy with the way it works. My set up is based on files as partitions but I have encountered a problem I can only create 4 partitions this way since all are primary partitions. Are there any solution to this problem other than move the domU''s to real partitions...

Deleted symlinks when receiveing files with the same name
...ompletely ignores the content of the symlinked files, which can be used to speedup the transfer; - if the transfer goes interruped/stopped, the receiving side remains without the symlink and without the to-be-received file. In other words, a file "seems" lost. I did some test with the verious delete-after (and similar) options, but they do not change anything. I am missing something? Question re: vorbis_block_clear()
...the *last* vorbis_block that went through vorbis_analysis()? I ask because I separate the analysis from the output/cleanup in poggenc. Hence, I can have a list of vorbis_block/ogg_packet pairs queued up for later output and cleanup. Invoking vorbis_block_clear() on these blocks seems to result in verious forms of Badness (read from unallocated and the like, since I didn't keep the corresponding vorbis_dsp_state instances around). But just free()ing these vorbis_blocks results in lots of memory leaks, since the storage inside the vorbis_block is still allocated. Any suggestions? Monty: will t...

Problem building (binary) packages for Windows
Hi, I am having a problem building binary packages for Windows recently. Normally, I use the "Murdoch-Sutherland" tool set, http://www.murdoch-sutherland.com/Rtools/ just build source packages by R CMD build <pkgname> and install these with R CMD INSTALL <pkgname> But now, for someone without having this tool set installed, under Win XP, with R-2.10dev

Fatal Samba bug? Why can't anyone answer this question?
Hi all, I ran into a problem with samba and immediately googles for answers. I found 30-odd references to places where this question has been asked before, but no answers. I asked it myself here and got no answer. Perhaps this is this a fatal bug in samba if no one knows how to fix it. Below is my original question: ----------------------------------------------------------------------

They have a shot or 15 and then they are of again, but a little later on they're back and keep clogging my logs. Is there a "easy" way of getting these ip-numbers added to
