WebSite Ver 2
No one has really stepped forward to push the website ver2 project
forward. So, if it is ok with everyone, I'd like to take that task on.

Problem with library
Hello.
I'm using R 1.7.0 on win98 ver2. I erased all my previous versions of R,
and install r 1.7.0. When I write "library()" I receive on a separate
pane all the lib in ver 1.7.0, and the following msg "Warning message:
library 'C:/Program Files/R/rw1051/library' contains no package in:

[LLVMdev] .debug_info section size in arm executable
...s debug information size is bigger than gcc dwarf debug info.
When I compiled ARM hello world code with -g option, the arm based assembly and executable files are bigger than gcc results significiantly.(apx. 3x)
(source file size was only 3KB)
I think that both clang and gcc use same dwarf format ver2 for debugging. But I don't know why the clang executable file size is bigger than gcc executable.
Could anyone explain about that?

I tested Attrafax this afternoon and was very pleased to see that it
worked first time right out of the box. I tested the gateway function
with the Asterisk source in the tarbal, Zaptel 1.4.10.1 and a Digium
TE405P ver2 4-port T1 card. I really like the console output while
processing faxes. Very impressive.
Would anyone mind sharing any performance statistics based on real
word usage or even high volume lab testing? I'm wondering how many
concurrent T38 to PRI faxes could be handled with high end server

Create qcow2 v3 volumes via libvirt
Hi all,
on a fully patched CentOS 7.4 x86-64, I see the following behavior:
- when creating a new volumes using vol-create-as, the resulting file is
a qcow2 version 2 (compat=0.10) file. Example:
[root@gdanti-lenovo vmimages]# virsh vol-create-as default zzz.qcow2
8589934592 --format=qcow2 --backing-vol /mnt/vmimages/centos6.img
Vol zzz.qcow2 created

For one example, for enums clang will emit the names for all of the enum
cases. GCC only emits the ones that are used.

Hi all,
anyone with some thoughts on the matter?
Another question: how reliable are qcow2 ver2/3 files nowadays? Are you
using them in production environments?
At the moment, I am using RAW files and filesystem-level snapshot to
manage versioning; however, as virt-manager has direct support for
managing qcow2 internal snapshots, it would be easier to deploy qcow2
disks.
What strikes me...

qcow2 is widely used in production at large scale in general. Just not
with internal snapshots - almost everything uses external snapshots,
aka backing file chains.

What is the fastest way to see what are in an RData file?
Currently, I load the RData file then ls() and str(). But loading the file
takes too long if the file is big. Most of the time, I only interested what
the variables are in the the file and the attributes of the variables (like
if it is a data.frame, matrix, what are the colnames/rownames, etc.)
I'm wondering if there is any facility in R to help me avoid loading the
whole file.
