[LLVMdev] [PATCH][REQUEST] Could someone submit this CSR Kalimba definitions patch please?
Hello LLVMdev!! Yesterday I posted a patch request to the llvm-commits list requesting that someone could apply a patch to Triple.h and Triple.cpp for me. I didn't get any response so I wondered whether I should have posted to this list instead. My story is as follows: we are trying to get lldb/llvm support for CSRs range of Kalimba DSPs. Eventually we are planning to hire someone to

[LLVMdev] RFC: MCJIT enhancements
Hi Paweł, Thanks for continuing this discussion. I like the simplicity of your suggestion. My only concern involves the ambiguity of what is meant by “environment”. Presently there are functions in the llvm::Triple class to access the environment as an enumeration of a fixed set of values. It seems that some non-enumerated values are already in use, but introducing possible combinations of

Chris, are you OK with the below changes to the Triple? -Jim On Sep 4, 2012, at 5:21 PM, "Kaylor, Andrew" <andrew.kaylor at intel.com> wrote: > ping > > From: llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu [mailto:llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu] On Behalf Of Kaylor, Andrew > Sent: Tuesday, August 28, 2012 11:10 AM > To: Jim Grosbach; Pawel Bylica; Chris Lattner > Cc: llvmdev

If at all possible, I'd like to keep the triple changes separate (separate patch series and separate discussion) from the other MCJIT changes. How dependent are the MCJIT improvements on the Triple changes? As you've noticed, Triple is not a

...at two comment tags (and their leading 32 bit integer describing the tags length) are switched position. To write the file, i do this: Bit-by-bit copying all contents of the existing file, until the beginning of the "Vendor length" integer. Then I write: vendorlength (32 bit unsig. int) vendorstring comment count (32 bit unsig. int) comment1 length) 32 bit unsig. int) comment1 string (fieldname=value) comment2 length.. .. .. and then I copy the rest of the contents from the existing file. [LLVMdev] RFC: MCJIT enhancements
The other MCJIT improvements aren’t dependent on the triple changes at all. The reason that this came up in the context of MCJIT is that the quickest way to get MCJIT support on Windows is to enable the generation of ELF object images on Windows. We previously proposed a minimal approach of just adding “ELF” to the recognized triple environment strings. This is the way that MachO generation is

[LLVMdev] RFC: MCJIT enhancements
Following up and expanding on an earlier conversation, I'd like to discuss making several non-trivial changes to the MCJIT engine and related objects. There may be some interdependencies between these changes, but I think that they can be logically grouped as follows: * Lazy module compilation * Enhance the JIT memory manager interface to enable section-based memory protection * Clean up
