Problem reading/writing permissions under Windows (V 2.2.8a)
...any permission). When I try to set any, nothing happens (it returns to none) and I find new NT_STATUS errors in the log. Can someone help me to fix that issue? It would be great, because I want to use roaming profiles. I think that "NT_STATUS_BUFFER" causes the problem. [LLVMdev] minor patch to fix 'random` tblgen -gen-inst-enums-bug
Hi *, to decide in which namespace tablegen should place the instruction-enum, tablegen iterates over CodeGenTarget instructions until it finds an Instruction with a namespace other than "TargetInstInfo".. but this is wrong, as internal Instructions now use "TargetOpcode" as Namespace.. As Instructions are a map, it is only by chance which is the first instruction it finds -

[LLVMdev] Compiling LLVM under vista with msdev 2008 gives a few errors
Hi, i had the same troubles on Vista and on Win7... cmake fails on some tests (you should see this in the log) due to m$ UAC (or whatever the name is) and uses not-so-sane default values. You have to start a visual c-command prompt (to make sure it gets the right paths) with administrator privileges (!) , than cmake works fine and you get a correct config.h. best regards, Thomas 2010/1/22

samba 3.0 as PDC and Winxp
Hi, I setup a samba 3.0alpha24-1 as PDC (simple with smbpasswd without LDAP:-( ). With Windows 2000 everything works fine (server profiles, mapping the home directory of the users as Z:/ etc.) But :-( Windows XP I could join the domain (without any trouble). But I could not login as a user. Windows XP returns domain is not accessible (die domain ist nicht verf?gbar). But when I login to the

[LLVMdev] Compiling LLVM under vista with msdev 2008 gives a few errors
Hi, I just started with LLVM so I'm not sure who's responsible for portability. Anyways, I found the following problems trying to compile llvm rev 94074 with the solution generated using cmake 2.8 (including the clang front end) on 32bit vista: lib/system Errno.cpp : had to add "#undef HAVE_STRERROR_R" raw_ostream.cpp: had to add "#undef HAVE_UNISTD_H"

md5sum -c failing on some files after rsync backup
Hello list readers, I am doing rsync backups based on Mike Rubels recipe (http://www.mikerubel.org/computers/rsync_snapshots/). I am creating lvm snapshots of partitions whose contents changes fast. In order to verify if evyerthing went ok, I do md5sum checks on all files and everytime some files are failing the test. Here is a list of them: ./amavis/db/__db.001: FAILED ./amavis/db/__db.002:

cannot write to but read from shares with mount.cifs
Hi list, we have a file server on which Win2k3 (EE) is installed. I can mount my home drive from a linux machine (gentoo with samba-3.0.2a-r2 installed) with my windows account data and mount.cifs. Then I can read files or navigate through the dirs. But if I try to write a file I get "permission denied". If I do the same thing as Administrator no error occurs. Well, one could say
