Anyone have any ideas? I tried doing a search but couldn't really find
anything.
Thanks!

Asterisk Indications
Hi,
Just wondering if someone could better explain how the indications.conf file
actually affects Asterisk?
I am using a Cisco 7940 from my Asterisk system, and have set in
indications.conf "country=au" thinking that this would make the
dialtones/call progress sound like the familiar Australian tones?
However when I call another extension on my system, it still sounds like

Modulated tones not working
G'day list,
I have an Asterisk box built from very recent CVS (less than 24 hours
old), and I'm finding that the support for modulated tones (see
http://bugs.digium.com/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0000746) is not working
for me for phones attached to my TDM400P.
I've set "country=au" in the [general] section of indications.conf, and
verified that the required changes have

Spurious ring burst on TDM400 FXS port
G'day all,
A weird problem has just started happening with my * server, and I've
googled myself stupid looking for help. My system is latest CVS, a
TDM400P with two FXS modules, two X101Ps, and VoIP connections (SIP, SCCP
& IAX2).
My wife complained about her extension (analogue, on one of the TDM400
ports) being dead -- no dialtone. I had to shut down *, then unload and
reload the

IAX1 vs IAX2 for IAXtel
G'day list,
I am getting a lot[1] of traffic on my Internet link, ICMP messages from
69.73.19.178 telling me UDP port 5036 is unreachable (this IP address
belongs to iaxtel.org).
I see from the wiki that IAXtel supports only IAX2 from December 2003.
Fine, however it looks like my * still wants to try and register using
IAX1, and I can't find how to turn this off.
This situation is

CND (CID) woe on a TDM400P
G'day list,
It appears I got ahead of myself in believing I'd solved my CND (caller
id) problem. My callerid.c change got it working on one of the handsets I
have, but not the other. (Recap: The AU CND standard has an increased
delay between the end of the ring signal and the start of the CND FSK data
-- it's 500ms in US GR-30-CORE, and around 700ms in AU DC.002/TS030).

chan_capi broken incoming audio
G'day all,
I've been googling myself silly looking for help on this one but have come
up blank.
I have an AVM Fritz!Card PCI, and I'm using chan_capi v 0.3.1 with * from
CVS-HEAD-05/08/04-22:48:00. I can start * and make and receive calls on
ISDN fine but after a few hours of * uptime, on any ISDN call I make or
receive from my SIP handsets (7960 or ATA-186) I get bad audio: on the
