Or how should I work-around this issue? Well it's a new API, so we can just tell people they need new btrfs-progs if they want to use the new API. It would be a problem if we were changing an old API, but that's not the case here....

Deleting deleted eMails
Hello 2gether, I am using Dovecot 1.0.rc15 together with Outlook (I apologize) via IMAPS. Now I discovered, that all the old eMails, I marked for deleting, are still there, even the veeery old ones. Dovecot is marking the eMails (I am using maildir configuration) files with an "ST" extension. Is there any switch to turn on garbage collection and maybe a screw to tune the duration until deletion? Thanks for your help! Michael Weisgerber

[PATCHv4 0/2] Introduce vfs_minimum_size API to get minimum filesystem size.
Tried to make it in accordance with your comments. Difference to v1: Added reply_with_error where necessary. Changed name get_min_size -> vfs_min_size. Difference to v2: Changed name to vfs_minimum_size. Changed parsing to xstrtol + STR* macros where possible. Difference to v3: Decapitalize error messages. Re: [PATCHv4 0/2] Introduce vfs_minimum_size API to get minimum filesystem size.
I have an issue with btrfs: There's an API > btrfs inspect-internal min-dev-size /sysroot/ But this API is available only in btrfs-progs >= 4.2. Before this, there's no reliable way to get minimum size (I could parse "btrfs filesystem show", but it is veeery inaccurate). Can we require btrfs-progs v4.2? Or how should I work-around this issue? -- Your sincerely, Maxim Perevedentsev

Trunk failover
Hi, I'm doing some experiments with SIP vs. IAX2 trunks as an alternative to PSTN and I noticed that, if voip link is down, failover to PSTN is almost immediate with the SIP trunk and VEEERY slow with the IAX trunk. Is there a specific reason? Some timeout to set in iax.conf? Thanks -- Domenico Viggiani

Xen Store error : out of memory
...the domU dies, but the domain still consumes CPU time, disks go idle after a while (zpool iostat or iostat show zero I/O). The domUs booted up fine, the installer started, partitioned and formated the virtual disks (zvols) and started copying the stuff over. Write access to the virtual disks seemed veeery slow (less than 1MB/s, the domU was in blocked state huge amounts of time). The hosts syslog didn''t have anything abnormal. Here''s what I tried and the output: markgraf.bti1 ~ # virt-install --hvm --name=hvmlx --ram=1024 --file=/dev/zvol/dsk/data/zones/hvmlx --vnc \ --cdrom=/da...

UI Libraries/Frameworks + Rails
...y is. Given the licenseing fees really aren''t that big it''s almost a no brainer if it does the job well. There also is these other libraries/frameworks out there around. Dojo, Yahoos little library, Qooxdoo etc But none have the completeness (yet) of Backbase - qooxdoo does look veeery interesting thought. However any of the options above feel, just somehow, well wrong. Because they''ll be tacked on to Rails, whereas they should be part of the whole ecosystem. What I''m wondering if anyone is having the same thoughts, or investigating extending Prototype/Scriptac...

Installing RoR on PenDrive
...UNIT> gem install rails --remote -i G:\DATA\RUBYONRAILS 5) Be able to say YES to all question while sleeping. 6) Download a non-installable IDE for RoR, copy the folder to the <PEN_DRIVE_UNIT> (i.e: RadRails) Note: When i say: go to sleep, is because the extraction / gem installation are veeery slow because of the usb port speed. Also, i''ve developed a little app in C# .NET 2.0 to start Mysq, Mysql-front and RadRails. But the dream stops here. When i open RadRails and try to create a new Rails project, i''ve got that message: "rails" is not an intern or exter...
