Windows TAP Problems?
...on is in progress"
A bit of googling doesn't reveal much except some possible intrusions by
a couple of recent Windows KB updates. Is this some glaring failure of
my own that I am just not seeing, or have the new updates incapacitated
tinc in one way or another?
Thanks!

Note that I did not have time to test the new driver version so I
don't know if it will work reliably (or even if it really fixes the
issue). If in doubt, you should downgrade.

Windows TAP Problems?
You should mention your tinc version and the version of the
"TAP-Windows Adapter V9" driver for the virtual network device you're
using (i.e. the contents of "Driver version" as seen in the Device
Manager).

download.fedora.redhat.com down? moved?
Hello all,
I'm trying to install mod_python from the normal channels via RPM,
though it seems that download.fedora.redhat.com is down, or moved?
DNS reports it does not exist.
I've seen multiple references to this domain name including on the site:

Please help?
Thank you,

GRUB woes: GRUB Hard Disk Error
Hello all,
I am attempting to install CentOS 5.5 on a recently donated home server (was
Windows). I've tried installing twice; first, separating /boot, swap, /,
/var, /usr and /home into different partitions, the second time choosing
default layout. Both times have resulted in "GRUB Hard Disk Error" upon
boot.
About the hard disk, it is a Seagate SATA drive. I do not have another

Guide to SELinux
Since the "SELinux - way of the future or good idea but !!!" thread is deep
in heated discussion, I decided not to derail to ask a simple question.
I found this guide for SELinux: http://www.linux-books.us/centos_0005.php and
it looks like it's straight out of RedHat.
However, it's dated 2005. Will this be sufficient to help understand a

Mobile Device Options
Hello,
I'm looking to use tinc. What are my options for connecting from a mobile device, e.g. iPhone/iPad or a droid?
Is there any backwards compatibility with IPSec or PPTP or anything? Or would it be possible to implement a solution where a pptp vpn is bridged to the tinc vpn so clients can 'see' other clients on either network?
Thanks,

Forbidden: can't access *.html files in /var/www/html
Hello,
I'm using the latest CentOS with phpBB 3.0.x + postgreSQL + sendmail
(relayed through gmail.com) - all those programs working fine,
with no big modifications of the CentOS defaults (i.e. SELinux is on).
Now I'm struggling with the seemingly simple problem, that when
I put an .html file into /var/www/html/ then Apache won't serve it.
In the browser I see:

Samba as BDC: unable to write on shared folders
I use Samba as a PDC (non-AD-style) on the server n°1.
I have successfully created a BDC on the server n°2.
I followed the official guide SAMBA
(https://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection/samba-bdc.html)
On servers n°2 I have also transferred the users database from the
server n° 1

User permissions on other users home directory
Hello,
I have 5 users that need to be able to read and write from each others
home directorys. How I have done this is by creating a group office,
adding these 5 users to the office group, and then changing ownership
of users home directorys to user1:office
However, when user1 edits a file in his home directory, user2 can no
longer edit it, even though both users are in the office group.
