I used winetricks to install d3dx9, vcrun2008, vcrun2008sp1 and xta
Wine is configured to Windows 2000, ALSA driver, hardware acceleration: emulation, Default sample rate 44100 Default bits per sample 16
I tried using the terminal to run wine MISE.exe, but with the same effect as already described, and no error messages in the terminal, so nothing to help...

I tried to install winetricks: vcrun6, vcrun2008,vcrun2008sp1, fontfix, cygwin but no luck.
I know this debug information is very poor, but I first like to hear if anyone has had the same problems with this software.
I using:
Ubuntu: Release 9.04 (jaunty), kernel Linux 2.6.28-15-generic, Gnome 2.26.1. Wine version 1.1.28

vcrun2008 fail to install

Note: command 'wine /home/dagger/.winetrickscache/vcrun2008/vcredist_x86.exe' returned status 1. Aborting.
I tried installing the exe directly from Microsoft: vcredist_x86_VS2008_sp1.exe
ultimate i wan to install vcrun2008sp1.
I am trying to get Zbrush 3.5 to work. I got Zbrush 3.1 to work on vcrun2005.
Zbrush 3.5 relies on vcredist_x86_VS2008_sp1.exe to run
