...dition I seem to get 2 copies for some reason. Also when I look at the print queue via Windows I get, "Access denied, unable to connect." ...I see it, however it shows unknown location and the server comment is not present. If I try to open it to see the shares I see the same error as above. ...by searching for \\server_netbios_name but it shows nothing in the location column and no server string. It says that it is not accessable if I try to open it. hi smbusers, would like to ask some questions about posix acls and reiserfs.help and info is much appreciated.(to make it clear i am running mandriva 2007 free edition with samba 3.0.23d installed.) 1. is acl supported now on reiserfs filesystems by default? 2. do i have to recompile the kernel and apply the acl patch? Hi all, I am trying to setup a file server using nt acl -like permissioning(like the ones with windows server 2003) but dunno where to start. I am switching to Samba because of speed,less maintenance and most of all FREE!
