Multiple vacation
Hi all
I'm using Dovecot 2.2.9 and I'm having problems configuring multiple
vacation actions.
The problem is that I'd like to have two different senders and two
different messages, selecting the correct case by the recipient email
address.
I mean, if someone writes me to my email address "to-address1 at example.com"
I'd like to answer from "from-address1 a...

Vacation sieve explained: how does it work?
Hi all,
I have a legacy system that uses gnarwl to handle vacation messages, most specifically the vacation messages are stored in LDAP. We have a web based tool that allows people to update their vacation message, all they?re doing is modifying LDAP.
I am trying to find out if dovecot?s vacation sieve can do the same thing. I am struggling however to find som...

Sieve: Vacation, handle and variable
Hi *,
I am adding a generic way for vacation-replies in my sieve setup. There
I set the handle and the reason using variables (see end of mail). My
simple question now is: Though variable expansion is not done for
subject and reason, is it done for the handle? Because else there seems
no way in configuring the vacation action via variables...

Palm Vacations, Look At A Jamaica Vacation For Total Relaxation
Palm Vacations, Look At A Jamaica Vacation For Total Relaxation
There is no place like Jamaica for a vacation that consists of total
relaxation. After all, isn?t that what a vacation is for? Get away from the
office, get away from people demanding your time, get away from customers
demanding the impossible,...

Vacation messages come from POSTMASTER, not user
Problem : All vacation autoreplies come from the postmaster address.
Expected behavior : vacation notice comes from the user who set the
vacation.
Platform : Dovecot 2.1.7 on Debian Squeeze ( See below for example
reply, sieve script and dovecot -n output)
Any help appreciated!

web based vacation frontend
Hi,
One customer has Centos 5 installed. He wants to have a web based
frontend to the vacation program because he is in charge to enable the
vacation msg for all the users in leave.
I tried webmin but the webmin vacation module points to a nonexistant
link. And the usermin module is very old and requires the user to do
it by themselves.
Suggestions?

sieve pigeonhole vacation filter responding when recipient is not explicitly listed
Hi dovecot.org,
When I set up vacation filter for a mailbox, the vacation response is
generated even though none of the addresses in the email are same as the
mailbox address itself.
I have example email sent to "aliastouser at mpathix.com" which gets
delivered to "user at my.domain.com" by dovecot-lda.

Sieve problem: No vacation message when mail is addressed to an alias of the mailbox.
Hi,
I?m facing here a wierd problem: We have a vacation messaging system
using sieve. When activated the system forwards incomming messages to a
given address and sents an out of office reply to the sender. This works
like a charm when the mail is addressed to mailbox at domain. When the
incomming mail ist addressed to alias.to.mailbox at domain...
