Tracing znode_t from dnode_t
Hi, To get my understanding of zfs data structures correct, I need to trace znode_t from given dnode_t. I came up with following trace, is this correct? dnote_t->dn_bonus->db_user_ptr points to corresponding znode_t Is there any other(better) way to trace znode_t from dnode_t? Cheers, -Atul

Can DTrace display non-instrumented function argument counts and types?
Is it possible to use DTrace to display the number of arguments and their types for userland or kernel functions that are not explicitly instrumented or documented by their authors? We''re talking about functions provided by Veritas VxVM/VxFS and the like, and for example, we might want to try tracing I/Os from App => VxFS => VxVM => ssd driver to see where I/Os get aggregated or

The crash makes the system reboot. The crash creates files in /var/crash which may be obtained

a saner API for allocating DMA addressable pages v2
Hi all, this series replaced the DMA_ATTR_NON_CONSISTENT flag to dma_alloc_attrs with a separate new dma_alloc_pages API, which is available on all platforms. In addition to cleaning up the convoluted code path, this ensures that other drivers that have asked for better support for non-coherent DMA to pages with incurring bounce buffering over can finally be properly supported.
