Is it possible to use Dovecot frontends in front of UWash backends? I need a proxy pool ASAP. There is not sufficient time to migrate the backends for 40,000+ users so they have to stay UW for now. I would expect this means the end of UWIMAP....which probably leaves DC as open-source IMAP of choice. (Didn't notice anything) I'm using Dovecot in combo with horde/imp and it's amazingly faster than courier-imap or uwash-imap, well done! What about the aforementioned ACL/Shared folders? I'm getting into a crux that I may need it and courier-imap-/-cyrus-imap will do my trick but, dovecot smokes them on performance! We're converting UW-IMAP users here to dovecot. Some of them have seen the error message issued when Thunderbird clients try to delete folders and I understand what's going on (from previous postings) that Dovecot doesn't support mbox subfolders within folders.
