"wbinfo -u" reports my AD users; "wbinfo -g" reports my AD groups (with the domain prefix removed); "wbinfo -U UUUU" gives me the correct SID for UID UUUU. But here's a funny thing (#1) - "wbinfo -S SSSS" gives me a UID for SID SSSS. However it's not the same UID as, when given to "wbinfo -U UUUU", would return that SID. Duh?...

Leroy and I strolled out in the dimming afternoon light for a breath of air and to check out the progress of the colors in preparation for the Museum's annual Fall Colors Stroll.
I happened to be in a Latin American prison, accused of running guns to the freedom fighters. All right, the Capitol Hill officers let down the old side this time. krb ticket for the computer account
Hi Samba community, Here is a problem I could not solve. I would like to mount a cifs share to my local Linux machine, which is bound to a windows domain using winbind. The share needs to be mounted by the linux machine's computer account. Here is what I do: # su - DOMAIN\\computer$ [DOMAIN\computercomputer ~]$ <<< i think there is a problem with the bash prompt, skip it for now

First Time Setting up RAID
Arch = x86_64 CentOS-6.4 We have a cold server with 32Gb RAM and 8 x 3TB SATA drives mounted in hotswap cells. The intended purpose of this system is as an ERP application and DBMS host. The ERP application will likely eventually have web access but at the moment only dedicated client applications can connect to it. I am researching how to best set this system up for use as a production host
