Regression tests
Hello, I have just built LLVM with CMake by following these instructions https://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html#getting-started-quickly-a-summary and I am trying to run the regression tests using "make check-all" but there are some unexpected failures in libcxx and libcxxabi. Here's the test log: Expected Passes : 40745 Expected Failures : 258 Unsupported Tests : 1594

PowerPC Compiler Crash
.... Greetings, That version of gcc seems to be outdated now. For that major version its on 7.4 now so you may want to try that to see if its already been fixed as a regression. If not thats considered a serious regression and should be reported. If Finkel can also send me a log of the build utput I can probably tell him how to get a trace but its a little hard to tell without that. Regards, Nick XL/LLVM on Power Compiler Development E-mail: jji at us.ibm.com From: "Finkel, Hal J. via llvm-dev" <llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org> To: Simon...

ao changes
Why has ao been changed so that there are now two open() functions ? IMHO the original ao_open() was fine - if you wanted to set the filename for output, you could add an option via ao_append_option and if you wanted to avoid overwriting an existing file, you could stat() it yourself. Having ao_open_live() and ao_open_file() just makes more work for the user of the library for no gain, AFAICT. Rik --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.o...

Dtrace locks up on sol
...(-3041965, "/system/object", O_RDONLY|O_NDELAY|O_LARGEFILE) = 4 1323: fcntl(4, F_SETFD, 0x00000001) = 0 1323: fstat(4, 0xFFFFFFFF7FFFF640) = 0 1323: getdents(4, 0xFFFFFFFF7F404000, 8192) = 4016 And that''s where it hangs... no output from dtrace to stdout, nor to the truss output file. Any ideas? thanks, Richard This message posted from opensolaris.org
