Questions regarding complex searching
I am pretty new to Ruby on Rails, but have been running into difficulty
with getting search to do what I want.
What I plan to do is to have, say, 10 fields in a form with a submit
button. The user can select which ones they fill out, and when they
click submit the database is searched appropriatly. That is, if the
name and state fields were both filled it, a page would display entries

wxSizerItem show() method
It appears from the wx 2.8.7 documentation that a wxSizerItem has a show()
method. But when I try to invoke it through wxruby, I get:
tasks.rb:56:in `do_btn3'': undefined method `show'' for

Contractor needed for MSVC wrapper to Loess
Hi,
Our firm is looking to see if it is possible to wrap some of more advanced lib
in R like modreg.dll and specifically Loess function in there for both
regression and prediction into MSVC++. We will probably take it to either VB or
Python for implementation issues. Given that locfit has many utitlities built in
for data transformation, this would be a good thing.
If that's not

graphics rendering
Hey
Has anyone got a graphics server running alongside ruby on rails? Kind
of new to graphics rendering on a web server, so some general tips on a
successful direction to go in would be great. I need it for automatic
rescaling of images, similar to flickr.
Thanks,
RGC
