Hello I was trying to figure out how to add printer drivers manually for downloading to Windows 2000 clients and I came accross this problem. I'm running Samba 2.2.3a on NetBSD. I've been having an annoying problem with winbindd dying inexplicably. I've not been able to get Samba to print to a Lexmark Z53. If I call it a Z52, the driver uploads (to where, I have no idea so I can't check it) but I still can't get anything out of the printer.

Ok folks, Here is the deal. I have posted to the news groups several times and gotten not a single thing. I have been trying since march to get 2.2.8a working on sol2.5.1 with winbind to do the authentication but it has failed miserably.
