Passenger and Puppet problems

Rack was installed from gem and is in the gempath.

The config.ru file is copied and pasted from
http://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/UsingPassenger for 0.24.x
Same goes for the virtual hosts config file, with added lines for
Custom Logging

large file download, timeout?
Hi. I''m a beginner, but I have a basic puppet setup working. I am
doing a manual tarball installation and it seems to be hanging then
eventually timing out on just downloading the file:
file { "/opt/hadoop-0.20.0.tar.gz":
source => "puppet:///hadoop020/hadoop-0.20.0.tar.gz"

I have another module that does the same things and works, my only guess

WEBrick, Passenger or Mongrel
Hi,
My organization is going to set up puppet soon. We have thousands
servers and desktops. Would WEBrick work well for this? Or should we
use Passenger?

Passenger Best Practice
I want to move from running puppet under it's own web brick server, to
using passenger.
I'd like to get an idea of how folk are running passenger? Ideally
I'd like to keep everything rpm based, so would need ruby enterprise
rpms, and then the mod_rails / passenger plugin?
How are you folk doing it?

I am getting all these messages when run `passenger-status''. Do I need
to worry about this?

puppet, mongel, nginx and new nodes
Hey All,
This is probably a gotcha of some kind. That is to say I''ve missed a configuration somewhere. I''ve recently moved over to using mongrel as the puppet server type and having nginx proxy to one of four mongrel instances.

Passenger Error "during the evaluation of config/environment.rb"
I have been through all of the instructions for setting up a
PuppetMaster using Passenger. At the present time, when I access
Passenger I receive the Passenger Error page with the message "The
