I have recently started using "tm" package by Feinerer, K. Hornik, and D. Meyer. While trying to create a term-document matrix from a corpus (approxly 440 docs) I get the following error: tdm <- TermDocumentMatrix(tmp, control=list(weighting=weightTfIdf, minDocFreq=2, minWordLength=3)) *Error in rowSums(m > 0) : 'x' must be an array of at least two dimensions* This error

When perople are usig download managers like FlashGet and DAP (multiple connection ones), the ceil limiting works okay, but the rate parameter is somehow useles... The guaranteed bandwidth is never reached. So what can I do to limit the number of connections/computer? I want to make sure that they do not use more tha...

Raid on centos
Ok I've a HP mircoserver that I'm building up. It's got 4 bays for be used for data that I'm considering setup up woth softwere raid (mdadm) I've 2 x 2TB 2 x 2.5 TB and 2 x 1TB, I'm leaning towards usig the 4 2.x TB is a raid 5 array to get 6TB. Now the data is on the 2.5TB disks currently. So the plan so far. Building the array as a degraded raid 5 with the 2 x 2TB disks that are emply. Copy the data from one of the 2.5TB disks on to array. Add now empty 2.5TB disk to the Array and wait for it...

...ch is still widely used) ships 2.4.3 > Python 2.4.3 until 2020? I doubt that anyone considers this seriously. Extended support lifespans, probably not, but main support intervals, certainly tens of thousands of paying customers subscribe to Red Hat's model (or the hundreds of thoudsands usig CentOS rebuild of the same sources) take a stable API quite seriously One thing I am missing here is: What is the ** NEED ** for chasing a later Python version? -- Russ herrold

Using Asterisk/callerid with "pay as you go"
If you asked this question on the biz list you would get a lot of people that will tell you that they offer services where you can set the caller ID to what ever you want. Advice on picking a regression method
Dear R-users, There are tons of methods out there for fitting independant variables to a dependent variable. All stats books tell you about the assumptions behind OLS (ordinary least squares) and warn against abusive use of the method (which many of us do disregard by lack of a better knowledge). Most introductory text books stop there and don't tell you what the next best option might be. I

"predict"-fuction for metaMDS (vegan)
Dear r-Community, Step1: I would like to calculate a NMDS (package vegan, function metaMDS) with species data. Step2: Then I want to plot environmental variables over it, using function envfit. The Problem: One of these environmental variables is cos(EXPOSURE). But for flat releves there is no exposure. The value is missing and I can't call it 0 as 0 stands for east and west. Therefore I
