...al) machine.
I had patch equalize_2.4.18.patch file.
And I had check ‘symmetric multi-processing support’ kernel compile option.
When I use that kernel, the system is down.
But, I had not check ‘symmetric multi-processing support’ kernel compile option,
and, I had complie that kernel.
When I uset that kernel, the system is good.
How to solve that problem?

Monte Carlo chisq test
Dear all,
I have a question about the chisq.test command. As an option one can
chose the computation of p-values by Monte-Carlo simulation
(simulate.p.value=T). Is there any documentation available how this
calculations are done and how this simulation based test behaves in
small samples?
Thanks

concurrent ms access usage does not work with 3.4.3
...samba to 3.4.3 ( from 3.0.26a ) on our fileserver only
one user at a time can use a ms access ( .mdb ) program we wrote. The
second user that tries to start this application gets a message that the
mdb is lockeb by another user. The strange thing is that I as
administrator can connect as second uset to the mdb without problems.
Is this a known probleme and is there a solution ?
Thanks
Andreas

No way to use "R CMD javareconf". As a superuser I get the

get the right configuration, but then
So I manually edited /etc/R/Makeconf (
So install abends and I try to use "R CMD javareconf" and I still get the

RFC: speedups with instruction side-data (ADCE, perhaps others?)
I’ve been playing around with optimizing performance various passes and noticed something about ADCE: it keeps an Alive set that requires a lot of upkeep time-wise, but if each instruction had a /single bit/ of side data (to represent liveness, solely within the pass), the set wouldn’t be needed. I tested this out and observed a ~1/3 reduction in time in ADCE: 1454ms to 982ms according to a

IPC connections and utmp
Hi,
I am running Samba version 2.2.5 with utmp turned on. I have a problem with
utmp and not displaying who is currently logged in. The basic idea is that
even though a user has logged off the computer (win2k pro) a connection to
IPC$ remains. It gives this.
