Dovecot don't recognise new messages in maildir /new
Hi, i'm google for it and i searched the archives, but i can't find the problem i have or a hint for a solution. I'm using Postfix as MTA, the new messages deliver by postfix to the maildir: /mail/domain.tld/userpart/new/ Dovecot sometimes show the new mails directly (it's very unusual) but mostly it needs for an hour that dovecot recognize the new messages. Reconnecting of the client don't help. Tested with Thunderbird, Sylpheed-Claws, mutt and muttng. Is there a bug known or do i something wrong?

Relative home path not allowed - but how is this relative?
I just set up my server with MySQL support for authentication/authorization compatible with Postfix Admin. Initially, I was getting the "Relative home directory paths not supported" message, and it's easy to see why - Postfix Admin stores the maildir as "$domain/$userpart@$domain". But the directories in 10-mail.conf are set as mail_location = maildir:/home/mailboxes/%d/%u mail_home = maildir:/home/mailboxes/%d/%u ...and the user_query has been revised to: user_query = SELECT concat('/home/mailboxes/', maildir) as full_maildir FROM mailbox WHERE use...

[Bug] Sieve vacation :addresses match only case-sensitive?
...ensitive to be RFC compliant, then please create an option for admins or users to change the behavior to an case-insensitive comparison. > Just change auth_username_format = %Lu to make all addresses lowercase. That should solve your problem. Or if you REALLY REALLY want to have case-sensitive userpart, then use auth_username_format = %n@%Ld Sami

LMTP: userdb lookup - user-filter with variables
...part from user at hostname.domain. So lookup of "user" succeeds in userdb (LDAP) done by dovecot-lda. I have always local addresses like to=<user at hostname.domain> postfix/lmtp[6579]: [ID 197553 mail.info] B3CDA66A16: to=<h0094slk at mailstore4.hu-berlin.de> With lmtp the userpart must be separated also. I tried user_filter (LDAP) with %n, %Ln, %8n without success: userdb lookup: user at hostname.domain doesn't exist) dovecot-2.1.17 I used "doveadm user h0094slk" and "doveadm user h0094slk at mailstore4.hu-berlin.de" for my tests. userdb { driv...

PJSIP realtime: lots of problems
...postgres log it looks like the following: SELECT * FROM pjsip_endpoints_v WHERE id = 'ep1 at domain' SELECT * FROM pjsip_endpoints_v WHERE id = 'ep1' In my environment the domain part may be different (depending on which proxy the user is terminated) and I want to perform lookup on userpart only. Is there a way to tell pjsip to ignore the domain? Otherwise it doubles the number of queries per request and that's again extremely inefficient. I'd appreciate any help and/or pointers. Thanks a lot, Michael -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed......
