She wants to be able to mount and unmount floppies and ZIP cartridges from within KDE, using the standard KwikDisk utility (which, by the way, generates mount and unmount command that don't conform to FreeBSD syntax; however, it appears possible to fix this

Hi, I am using 5.1, Until yesterday morning when we had a power cut for 9 hours [no proper UPS], the automount of USB drives worked properly. Now when I connect any USB drive [hard drives & USB sticks], they show up in dmesg, and they are being properly recognized, but I have to mount them by hand. Thanks to Will Saxon I'm finally able to mount Samba shares on my 5.1-R box using the command mount_smbfs -I 129.197.36.34 -W acct01 //bfosdick@129.197.36.34/net-11 /sp/net-11 which then prompts me for my password. So now the question is...how do I put this in /etc/fstab? What do I do about the password?
