Simply mysql quota check
...ecot-sql.conf.ext
}
#/etc/dovecot/dovecot-sql.conf.ext
password_query = \
SELECT username AS user, value AS password \
FROM mailboxes WHERE username = '%n@%d'
user_query = \
SELECT username, domain, \
CONCAT('*:storage=', SUBSTRING_INDEX(quota, 'm', 1)*1048576) AS userdb_quota_rule \
FROM mailboxes, domains WHERE mailboxes.username = '%n@%d' \
AND domains.domain = '%d'
My idea is when a message is delivered, the dovecot to check quota in the mysql according to the value received in the "user_query" but he does not.
It shows a value of 2GB that...

per user quota
Hello!
I activated quota
plugin {
quota = maildir:User quota
quota_rule = *:storage=1GB
# 10% of 1GB = 100MB
quota_rule2 = Trash:storage=+10%%
}
But when I want to do per user quota in the passwd-file
...vhosts/anup.de/anmeyer::userdb_mail=maildir:~/userdb_quota_rule=*:bytes=10G
I get this in the logfile and can't login:

application specific passwords
Hi,
Further to the other thread about password guessing activities against
our dovecot, I would like to implement application specific passwords on
our dovecot.
Googling results in some documents, but they are all a bit older:

quota in SQL and static userdb
Hello,
which solution will be working or will be working better
(performance). Using dovecot 1.2.6 (plugin section contains quota_rule
= *:storage=500M:messages=10000 and i need override this default quota
for some users)
A) passdb sql(SELECT userid AS user, pw AS password, quota AS
userdb_quota_rule FROM users WHERE userid = '%u') + userdb static
(uid=500 gid=500 home=/home/mail/%d/%n allow_all_users=yes) - using
extra fields quota with no prefetch userdb
or
B) passdb sql(SELECT userid AS user, pw AS password, quota AS
userdb_quota_rule, CONCAT('/home/mail/', domain, '/...

counts quota only for last user as defined /etc/dovecot/users or in database table.

After running `doveadm quota recalc -A` I have in my db:
