an --exclude-from question
...ion, and I've read the man pages and such, but
I need a little bit more help getting this specific task to work right.
Basically, I want to mirror home directory structures, and only two files
within each home directory, to other machines from a central server. Those
files are ~/.spamassassin/user_prefs and ~/.procmailrc. Other files should
not be transfered, so I'm looking for some sort of wildcard statement to
do that. If I just put a * in there, nothing transfers. If I want to
transfer other files at a later date, I'll add them into the file with +'s.
I would like to not have to...

Problem with excel and word attachements ?
Hello
We are in (random) troubles with some emails that contains
word and excel attachements ( others attachements are OK )
I don't really think Dovecot is implied in this trouble but I want
to be sure ...
The problem is users cannot open attachements from their clients
( thunderbird 3.1 ) it stays in "download" mode until timeout.
Maybe there is a Dovecot's workaround to

filter unwanted email
I am new to CentOS. How do I set a rule to so that any email coming from @
linkedin.com (and other abused locations), going to an application RT (setup
on the system), will get rejected or dropped silently.

IMAP flags and dovecot-keywords not working as expected
I've converted most of our users from Outlook to Thunderbird. One important feature of
Thunderbird is that it pays attention to the IMAP non-standard message flags via the 'tags'
feature (see http://wiki2.dovecot.org/MailboxFormat/Maildir). This is important because 2
users make extensive use of Outlook categories (Tags, in Thunderbird). I found that when I set
a message to the 1st

Spamassassin under CentOS-6.3
...this.
I read up about catching such email in spamassassin,
but did not understand exactly what changes are required.
One difficultly I have is that there seem many places
where one can make changes in spamassassin settings.
Am I right in thinking that all such changes can be made
in .spamassassin/user_prefs ?
What should I put in this file to change the score for eg
3.5 BAYES_99 BODY: Bayes spam probability is 99 to 100%
Any advice or suggestions gratefully received.

How does one mark all messages as read (imap4flag "seen") with sieve?
I don't use the Anti-Spam plugin; I just fire off a BASH script every four hours with
crontab which iterates thru the vmail email accounts and trains Spamassassin 'per-user'
accounts. If the script sounds interesting I can post it here. It probably could use a little polish
though.

if you have a file in profile directory, add this to it. if not,
create file and paste this in it.
//set user agent to blank
user_pref("general.useragent.override", " ");
what makes you get a unique rating is that you report no agent. only
info any site will know about you is your ip address.
