During a stress test dovecot-2.0.11 logs many warnings:

Dovecot rc23 and rc24 freeze after authentication
I had our production systems running on rc23, however we ran into
problems when the server was under heavy load. Eventually, the
server would begin to freeze all imap connection after authentication
(according to the logs). A user would connect, authentication would
succeed, and then the connection would sit until timing out. No
error logs were produced. Upgrading to rc24 did not

I need that scripts running
from user "master" make some changes if files that owned by other users.
Shurely i can set UID of master to "0" but this increace vunerability
of system.
in /etc/group I add
user1:*:1001:master
...
user15:*:1015:master
--- all work Ok user master member of all user1-user15 groups
(this user "master" with ID!=0 , in server polisy reasons, must have

FreeBSD 4.8 / Samba 3.0.11 - more signal 11's than before... (3.0.8)
The error message is the usual panic error - 3.0.11 and FreeBSD 4.8.
Samba 3.0.8 ran fine with the same config (admittedly there were a few
roaming profile sync related crashes, which is why I was upgrading).
Now however I can't even connect - it crashes immediately, respawns and
crashes again.
My Samba server is a domain member of a Win2003 domain controller used for
roaming profile

Using puppet to manage user access to servers.

We would to be able to say:
on servergroup {CUSTOMERservers} ensure usergroup {ITusers,
CUSTOMERSUPPORTusers} are present.
on servergroup {DATABASEservers} ensure usergroup {DBAuser,
