If so, then it is worth checking to see how usbutils is talking to the UPS.
If not (lsusb returns "Report Descriptors:" / "** UNAVAILABLE **"), it seems like the two options are to upgrade the kernel (which I understand is an issue), or try to roll back the userspace tools to match what was current when the kernel was current.

If there are newer kernels out there, it is possible that some of the userspace tools (usbutils, libusb, etc.) are expecting a newer kernel. Is it possible to downgrade any of them, to test with package versions that were released at the same time as the 2.6.32 kernel?

segfault after page view
I realize this is slightly off-topic, but I''m stumped and I hope someone
else has had the same problem.
When running a rails app using webrick (script/server), I can load any
given page which involves a controller once, and any subsequent page
loads trigger a "Segmentation fault" without any other info.
This problem is very new, and has only started occurring since I last

Hi, I am trying to do a very minimal install of Slackware to run Asterisk

Anyone using CentOS 6 on PC104 stacks?
Is anyone using CentOS 6 on PC104 stacks?
I have tried a couple of different CPU cards with CentOS 6.5 [no updates]. I can install with the Install DVD to the PATA hard drive just fine, but they each hang up while the installed system is trying to get UDEV going. And by "hang up" I mean a) leave the machine setting for hours and it never gets udev started, AND b) the keyboard has gone
