Mustek PowerMust 848
Hi,
I'm not the maintainter for the "megatec_usb" driver (in fact, I'm no
longer maintainer for the base "megatec" either), so I don't really
know the status for that particular UPS.
I'm forwarding this to the NUT mailing-list though.
Regards,

PowerCom USB units...
Greetings all,
Anyone done any work on these products? I have several (a couple of
different models) that are rebranded Ultra in the US. Using explore
with usbhid returns some significant quantities of data and I've done
some captures with usbsnoop. I've also asked Ultra to get me the HID
definition that was used for them, in the hopes I don't have to
usbsniff all the setting variable mapping and control ops.
Best regards,
Eric

INFOSEC 500 XP usb support
...driver
would do the trick, so far it does not.
Anyway, the thing is that I also own a machine with Windows and will
probably engage the sniffing process.
Since it's my first attempt on the dark side of the USB some advices
will be welcome:
- I plan to use http://sourceforge.net/projects/usbsnoop/ is this a tool
you would recommend? if not what else?
- another information that would probably help me is an example of data
already collected with comments, is there anybody in the list who would
share such information?
Many thanks in advance,
Andre

I still would like to see that.

Reverse engineering USB devices
I'm pretty sure this is the wrong list, but maybe some clever people
here can redirect me...
I have a "RCA RS2100 Bookshelf Audio System"

This is radio/CD/mp3 player... PLUS it can stream audio wirelessly.
You plug a USB device into your PC and you can remote control what gets
played from the RS2100 remote control ("Wireless

MEC0003 protocol support
Hi Folks,
I'm trying to use a ZIGOR Danubio 2000 ups with NUT on Debian squeeze (AMD64).
OS/NUT are all the latest official release (as of last week) with NUT installed from packages.
As the usb descriptor presents MEC (and the Fry's electronics) I chose to use the blazer_usb driver.
All appears to work well excepting that the UPS does not appear to accept the shutdown instcmd to turn

Nut with megatec_usb
Hi,
I'm new in the list and I'm having a little bit trouble to put the
megatec_usb to work.
I've been using NUT for a while with the apc and megatec driver (serial),
with no problem.
The server is a Ubuntu 8.04.2 with NUT version 2.2.1-2.1ubuntu7.2, the
default package version in this ubuntu release.
I've configured the ups.conf as follows:
[sms]
driver = megatec_usb

Problems with Unitek Alpha 1000 Ps
Hello to all list members,
I'm trying to make my UPS work with nut-2.2.2 (using Debian Testing, but
compiled from source code) for a week ago, with not success. It's a
Unitek Alpha 1000Ps, and I supossed it would work with megatec_usb
driver, as other Unitek models. It has an USB interface, and when I plug
it into my system I've got this message:
chopito:/home/jordi# dmesg | tail
