Can that be - it should be a rather old procedure, so I wonder whether I get something completely wrong... Regards, Ursula This email and any attachments are confidential and may ...{{dropped:8}}

.... 'I have just begun using R 1.0.0 for Win95. Can someone please tell me how to put a data frame on the clipboard, and how to read data into a data frame from the clipboard.' Is this something that's planned? The clipboard seems pretty fundamental to Windows (and other OS?). R talks at LSM 2007
Dear R users and developers, Would any of you be interested in giving a lecture about R and/or R use cases at the following free software conference that takes place in Amiens, France, next summer? We already had a talk on R last year by Yves Croissant (http://2006.rmll.info/theme_26?lang=en) but are still open to any submission this year. We expect some talks this year (to be confirmed) about

Server disposal
Can anyone recommend a mailing list or other resource for finding a home for old server hardware? I've got a growing bone pile of retired Dell and Supermicro rack servers. I've stripped the drives and memory but hate to see the other old parts go to waste, like old RAID controllers and other proprietary parts.

Replacement web server time - catalog CPAN and PEAR installs
I'm looking to replace an OLD Fedora web server with a Centos 7 one. I'm currentlly in the process of documenting what is on the server ready to install the new one. While most things have been done with RPMs, some installs have had to be done via CPAN for Perl and PEAR for PHP. Is there a way of getting a list of everything that has been installed using these tools?

....table(file="clipboard", ...) would do the trick. Of course, exporting to a file and the reading into R is pretty easy but usring the clipboard would save a couple extra steps.

...clip' and 'fromclip' functions _very_ handy. This was the kind of thing I had in mind. However after reading Zivan Karaman's post, I think he's hit the nail square on the head. [sfs: dovecot-auth file descriptor usage]
I am re-posting this message from last Friday, as I have seen no replies. It is critical that we address this problem, since until then we cannot put more than a few hundred users on our server. If Dovecot-auth TRULY needs to keep open a file descriptor for every single login session, we will have to start looking at alternatives. In short: Help! ----- Forwarded message from Steven F Siirila
