Urm... I _think_ it was a build problem. It hit very early on and mailing
list traffic from June 2016-ish seem to validate it was a known thing. I
don't have an easy place to test as it will refuse to build with 4.3 loaded
up. Maybe I'll make a jail after these problems are fixed.

Can VMWare modules run alongside in XEN kernel?
I would like to have VMware modules running in the XEN kernel, NOT in DOM0 kernel but outside at the hypervisor level, is that possible?
Architecturally, I noticed that xen subbranch does not implement any modules loading. If I were to load the VMware modules directly as an ELF image, will it break any existing architectural feature in XEN?
Thanks :-).

recognation failed - ?!
Hi there,
When I was making examples form "Rolling with Ruby on Rails" (
http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/onlamp/2005/01/20/rails.html ) , after
generating controller MyTest, the WEBrick server ( localhost:3000 )
reported an error:
recognation failed /MyTest
The WEBrick server was started form correct directory, what else can
crush in that way ?
Cheers.

Hrm, :after on auto_complete_field helper ?
Okay, urm, here is the problem :)
I have an auto_complete field that gets back a set of three values, so,
ideally, I thought I would put the :after tag on the
auto_complete_field, use a little custom javascript function that splits
it up and flings it into the other values, except, call me stupid, but,...

As for the tinc.service file itself, a good start would be, IMHO:

tinc initialization (in both Red Hat and Debian families)
...So I thought one may use /etc/sysconfig/tinc instead. Of course, this has
the disadvantage of being Red Hat-specific; it would be *great* to have,
for that role, a configuration file that resides in a common place, for
both Red Hat and Debian families.

How to use macro variable in a text string
I want to use read.table to input many files, each for a different year. I
would like to use the macro variable 't' to refer to the exact file that I
would like to input the data using read.table. How could I do this? Thank
you!

A user could be building an image so to be bootable in UEFI systems

Ruby/XSLT
Anybody got any experience using this ( http://greg.rubyfr.net/pub/packages/ruby-xslt/files/README.html ) ? I asked my hosting company (a2hosting.com) about XSLT processors for Rails and mentioned this one. Four hours later I get email that they''ve installed it. Thing is, the documentation didn''t generate, and when I execute ''gem list --local'' it''s

So... I've been running Samba 3.6 for too long and I upgraded. I did save
my packages for 3.6, but I don't _think_ I'm going back.
Points for the group:
- Samba 4.4.x is broken on FreeBSD. I forget exactly, but it seems to
be a known problem (tm), so I'll move on.
- Whether I use BIND9_DLZ or I use SAMBA_INTERNAL, samba_dnsupdate
complains. Strange thing, tho: all

best way to add "created_by" entries to all tables???
Hi,
I want to automate somewhat the addition of created_by/updated_by fields
on my models (i.e. to include username). What''s the best/recommended
way to do this? Would it be to:
a) Find out how to extend the ActiveRecord::Base itself (I haven''t
extended a class before yet)
b) Use a plugin type approach where you have to add a tag manually to
each model file which then

ZFS Usage in Warehousing (lengthy intro)
Dear all,
we''re currently looking forward to restructure our hardware environment for
our datawarehousing product/suite/solution/whatever.
We''re currently running the database side on various SF V440''s attached via
dual FC to our SAN backend (EMC DMX3) with UFS. The storage system is
(obviously in a SAN) shared between many systems. Performance is mediocre
in terms
